I decided to check out the Blackhawk Talon Thumbhole Stock and see how well it performs. The Talon thumbhole stock is incredibly comfortable to shoot, and the recoil reduction system works very well, and could come in handy if you’re doing a lot of shooting on a particular day.
We get asked a lot about carrying firearms. We also get asked to review a lot of holsters and rarely do we do them simply because there is never much differentiating between brands, just mainly styles. HotShotTactical sent us two BeamLOKR units, the HSAR15 and the HSSG12. One is the BeamLOKR mount for a standard AR-15 barrel but will also work on most barrels as well from .22’s to 30-30’s I am sure. The other is for 12g shotguns.
Head Down Products sent us their PV13 rifle for review. Since we received the rifle, we have put 2000 rounds through it before, during and after filming the review.
If you have never heard of Magpul then I can’t help you. Magpul is one of, if not THE leader in polymer products for the AR platform as well as many other accessories. From stocks to grips, rail covers, sights and slings, and let us not forget the PMAG either.
So I went out to the range to shoot my new Springfield XDS this morning. I posted a picture on Facebook and a lot of you had asked about accuracy, fit and finish, my thoughts… So I decided I would film this video and post it to the site with some of my initial thoughts.
Let me tell you something about full auto you already knew. It’s frigging awesome. You know what makes it Awesome-r? Making it suppressed with a sweet AAC can on the front. So not only can you dump a full 30 round magazine in less than 3 seconds but you can do it with the audio signature of a weed whacker.
Have you ever had the opportunity to shoot steel? I mean shoot it, really shoot it. Not an old street sign, not a car door, I am talking about AR500 Steel plate. This is the stuff that makes you buy more ammo.
